My car is a TVR Chimaera. It has a modified 4.0 litre V8 engine, originally a Buick design, later bought in by Rover for their 3.5 litre cars. Peter Wheeler, then owner of TVR, used this engine, heavily modified by his subsidiary company TVR Power in Coventry, in the TVR wedges, V8S, Chimaera, and the Griffith cars. These cars are great fun, having large powerful engines with up to 340bhp only having to push along approx 1 ton of car. This provides 0 to 60 times in the 4.5 second bracket and top speeds up to about 167mph.
